Plus she has the best best best blog! We love our blogging customers and Kennedy is definitely one of the best. Plus, she makes the cutest little drawings.

Q: Hey Kennedy! How are you?
A: I'm great! Mostly still shocked and flattered you guys would think to feature me.

Q: You have such an ecclectic, relaxed style. Who would you say your style icon is?
A: That's always changing but forever I would say Sofia Coppola, Chloe Sevigny, and Kate Moss circa 1992

Q: What is the most important accessory that you can't live without?
A: Recently I've been really into hats. I've been collecting any big floppy vintage hats I can find, they are truly a blessing on unruly hair days.

Q: If you weren't living in Boston, where would you love to live?
A: I would have to say either Barcelona, Spain or San Francisco, CA. I've never been to either but I know I would love both.

Q: Who are your top 3 favorite musicians or bands?
A: I'm really bad about music actually, my favorite bands now are my same favorite bands from when I first got into music in high school. They are: T. rex, Ugly Cassanova, and Bob Dylan forever and forever.

Q: Where's your favorite place to shop in your hometown?
A: In my hometown of Charleston, SC my favorite place is Community Thrift which is this amazing warehouse filled with clothes, books, house decor, pots and pans, and beautiful jewelry. It's my all time favorite thrift store.

Q: If I were to go into your room, what would I see?
A: You'd see a pile of clothes 2 feet deep covering every available surface.

Q: What is the best film ever made?
A: King of Hearts, It's a 1966 french film about a soldier in the war who wanders into a deserted town thats only remaining occupants are the people who find their way out of the insane asylum.

Q: Do you have a catch phrase, or something you say way too often?
A: I want to eradicate the word "like" from my vocabulary.

Q: What is your favorite thing on sale now at 1918?
A: I like so so so much, but those Italian Ribbon shoes are pretty amazing.

Latest Obsession - Alexander McQueen for Target

I just can't wait until it's here (March 1) . Two of my favorite things will finally blend together. I'm not a huge fan of pink, so I'll have to buy the other pieces. I love the menswear influences and that amazing dress in the first photo. I'll also definitely be buying that leather vest and possibly the black trench!

NINETEEN/EIGHTEEN

It's finally here, sort of! Today I started an Etsy page for our new line of handmade accessories called nineteen/eighteen! I'm not exactly sure of the future of nineteen/eighteen because it's still new to me. I'm going to continue to make those lovely cowl scarves and hand crocheted accessories, but I'm sure plenty will come in addition to that. I have a few talented friends that may be making things for nineteen/eighteen as well. I'll keep you all updated in the months to come on the development of this line. But for now, enjoy. Shop Shop Shop nineteen/eighteen!

COMING SOON!

Day 19

I'm beginning to crochet these lovely cowl scarves to sell in the store. They should be available in a few different colors. But it takes me a while to hand make these, so most likely there will only be one in each color. Soon Soon Soon, I promise!!

Talented Friend!

One of my best friends, and former college roommate, Brooke just created a new line of REALLY amazing skirts (shown above). They're not for sale, nor has she even named her line of clothing. But once she does, I'm definitely going to start selling them in the store! They're all so adorable, I can't even decide which one I like the most. Maybe the skirt with the creepy cat heads! Anyway, congrats Brooke. Your work is amazing. Now sell the dang things!

NYE: Mitten Party

Last night for new years I hosted the 1st Annual Merry Mitten New Year. This is a mitten themed party honoring Christmas and New Years. Everyone had to wear mittens the entire time. It was so much fun. My friend Sarah and I made a mitten board game. When you drew a card, you would have to do a task that is extremely hard with mittens on! Oh good times were had. I'm hoping to have this party every year. Calling it the 1st annual was slightly sad.
