FINALLY, MY ISSUE IS BEING ADDRESSED!

It's about time! Finally, my lifelong issue is being addressed in one film. Goodness, it's about time. If you know me well, you know what I'm talking about. After seeing this trailer I feel a little bit better about myself, maybe like I'm not a complete mongoloid (word of the week) and just a really happy...normal....person. A lot of people in my life don't understand why I'm always so freaking happy, they think I'm hiding years of depression and masked anxiety. Welp, nope, you're wrong. Now that I know Poppy is out there, I don't feel so insane. Thanks Miramax!

New Studio Space!

So I'm moving into a new small space in a couple of weeks where I'll only have ONE room for everything (bedroom, office, merchandise, etc) I have most everything I need, but a lot of the things I already own are just too large for my new studio space. SO, here's all the new stuff I'm getting to make it really feel like home. I have some major plans to do some great stuff with wood grain contact paper on the walls and on some of the furniture. Wood grain is definitely one of my favorite things the world has to offer.

Song of the Day: The Kinks - Strangers

So, I made this little graphic because my favorite Kinks song came on shuffle on iTunes. I once thought about getting a tattoo that said this lyric from the chorus. However, I didn't. Instead I sing it to myself all the time. It really symbolizes how equal we all are you know? It's crazy to think that we have a little bit programed into us with hate and judgement. Really, we're just one.

Gas for $2.13

Today model Brad and I went out to see 'W' after getting some gas. We went to the cheap gas station in town and picked it up for $2.13 a gal! OH MY! That's insane. I suppose there's the silver lining in all of this dang economy stuff. However, we didn't end up seeing 'W'. When we pulled into the theater we could not only find zero parking spots, but the theater was crawing with HSM3 fans...in which I find frightening. We went to best buy and picked up the new Deerhoof and Cold War Kids Cds instead. Followed by me getting by behind kicked in Mario Tennis.

Sun Jar: want or need?

I'm just ecstatic about this product. Urban Outfitters is now selling something called a Sun Jar. It's a solar powered jar that charges up during the day and provides continuous soft light at night! It's recommended to be used as a garden light or night light (which I need neither), so I'm just trying to figure out if this is in fact a want or a need. I think I need it, it's amazing! Click HERE to shop for the sun jar.

FLICKR PHOTO OF THE DAY

I found this photo after thinking about how delightful this cold fall weather is. It's finally time that I get to wear my socks around the house. This photo is called Zero Gravity and is by a wonderfully talented Italian photographer. It just made me jealous of all these people in their warm weather clothes on a giant swing. Oh to be flying free. flickr.com/photos/auro

East Coast Trip!

I got back from my tour of the east coast a couple of days ago, and wanted to share with everyone my good memories! I have to! I spent time staying with my lovely friend Brooke in her home town of Pine Beach, NJ. Met some cool kids in Philadelphia (hi Sarah and Bubba!). And I even hung around NYC to bring in my friend Stacy's 21st bday. It was great finally seeing two of my favorite people from when I lived in L.A. again. Brooke was my roomie, and Stacy was just a friend and fellow FIDM student. Ohhh good times were had. The first night we were in NYC, we saw a show called Fuerza Bruta. We had no idea what it was really before going in, so we didn't know what to expect. If you all don't know what Fuerza Bruta is, let me just tell you that after the show we left soaking wet (after being sprayed with a fire hose by George Washington during the show) and with a coma induced iPhone. Oops. I made the mistake of having my phone out during the wet adventures that came along with Fuerza Bruta. Don't worry kids, about 4 days after the show...my phone came back to life! Ohhh goodness. Anyway, to view all of the trip photos (even some from fuerza bruta) visit my flickr HERE.

Back to work, back to blogging, and back to shipping out your lovely orders!!
